    On behalf of a client we are looking for a new Head Of Payments And Fraud i-gaming for a new office in Malta. 

    This role has responsibility and ownership of the fraud and payments function from an operational, strategic and technical perspective. The successful candidate will be the go-to person to provide fraud and payments solutions and direction and will be the businesses subject matter expert.



    -Successful implementation of a forward-thinking risk and fraud management strategy

    -Implementing payments optimization strategies to maximize deposit levels

    -Driving and successfully implementing the key fraud and payments projects

    -Ensuring maximum efficiency of the payments functions through detailed statistical analysis of all payments areas

    -Overseeing the payments processing function and ensuring the quickest possible turnaround times on customer withdrawals

    -Ownership and management of payment and fraud 3rd party relationships, including: banks, PSPs, verification providers, acquirers, fraud systems

    -Directing, guiding, and providing leadership to the Payments Department

    -Working in partnership with compliance and the Head of Retention to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

    -Providing and implementing a strategy regarding customer registration, verification, due diligence, KYC and AML policies and processes

    -Ensuring that all departmental objectives, KPIs and SLAs are met, and ideally exceeded

  • Salary/Package:

    Salary depending on experience.

  • Experience:


    -Proven experience of delivering technical solutions for maximizing online revenues

    -Developing policies, proactive procedures and working practices to profile and identify business activity that is being targeted by fraud syndicates or contravenes licensing

    -Extensive experience of managing online banking relationships

    -Management experience with the ability to motivate others

    -Proven ability in identifying and recommending improvements that demonstrate ROI


  • Essential Experience:

    -5+ years’ experience in the Online Gambling vertical

    -Extensive knowledge and experience of online payments, banking, and payments processing

    -Strong compliance and regulatory background

    -Strong operational background

    -Natural team leader with a focus on continuous improvement

    -Analytical individual who can create business cases based on accurate analytics

    -Proactive, independent individual with the ability to focus on the task at hand and achieve results by being methodical and results-driven

    -Exceptional prioritizing and multitasking skills to balance the operational and technical workload

    -Ability to meet strict project deadlines

    -Confident communicator, both in writing and verbally.
